This series of photos show Hope eating the white rat. The pictures get progressively closer to the subject until the last one is a close up. They were taken with a digital camera (Sony Mavica), which has an electronic zoom. The first one is taken with the equivalent of a 40mm focal length, the second approximately 200 mm and the last one with a 400 mm. They were all taken from the same spot.

The eagle is in the small perpendicular branch in the center of the picture.
If you look closely you will see two thin lines from the branch to the ground. This is how the food is sent up.

You can get a better look now. Look for the center of the picture.

Here is the picture you were waiting for. The white "thing" at Hope's feet is the white rat imported from the USA, if you look closely you can see the tail.
