Greetings from the Canopy...
Seasons are changing, birds are nesting and fledglings are starting to take their first flights. The green season is upon us! There is plenty of bird activity to experience this season here in Panama. Our staff and guides are busy with our keen guests, and there have been some excellent sightings recently at our lodges!
In celebration of this fruitful season, we are excited to offer a special last minute deal. Come visit us this June, and save $450 per person on our 7-night, all-inclusive birding packages at the Canopy Tower and Canopy Lodge. Be sure to check it out for great savings this green season, and book fast as spaces are limited.
Best wishes, and I hope to see

CTF's Community Support in the Darien
Now that we are well involved in the Province of Darién, where we will be bringing birders & tourists in the near future to our new Canopy Camp Darién, it is of large value to us do what we can to support the local community of the Darién. We recently made a donation of avocados from our property to Fundación Pro Niños de Darién, a non-profit organization that focuses on reducing malnutrition in children by implementing nutrition programs, education and community development.
Bay of Panama a Protected Area
The Bay of Panama, one of the America’s most important spots for migratory water birds, was reinstated as a protected area on April 15, 2013 by the Panamanian Supreme Court, after a suspension of its protection that came into effect in April 2012 in order to open doors for residential and industrial development. The Panama Audubon Society as well as their in-country and international partners lobbied the Panamanian government to reverse the decision. The more protected areas for birds and other wildlife, the better!
