This 7-night tour explores the foothills and cloud forests of El Valle de Antón—the home of motmots, tanagers, hummingbirds, antpittas and the mythical Rufous-vented Ground-Cuckoo! A week-long expedition to some of central Panamá's most biodiverse and picturesque forests—led by internationally acclaimed author, lecturer and photographer, Kike Calvo. Enjoy lodging at 2 world-renowned eco-lodges—the Canopy Tower (3 nights), at the pinnacle of breezy Semaphore Hill in Soberania National Park; and the Canopy Lodge (4 nights), in cool El Valle de Anton, with cloud-forested Cerro Gaital Natural Monument as a backdrop. We will enjoy 7 nights lodging at the world-famous Canopy Tower, located atop Semaphore Hill in rainforested Soberania National Park and 3 nights at the award-winning Canopy Lodge, nestled in the cool, cloudforested foothills of El Valle de Anton.
